Will I own all the rights to my ghostwritten book when it is completed?
Yes! Evergreen Ghostwriters provides its services for a fee, not for a share of the proceeds or any control over future adaptations, licensing decisions, or royalties. Your book is always going to be your book.
Will Evergreen Ghostwriters take credit for my book, or post about it online?
No! We deeply value discretion at Evergreen, which is why you do not see a “gallery of works” on our website displaying books that we have ghostwritten. Written into all of our contracts is that we are able to use short excerpts from the books we write for the sake of gaining new clients (as references of our work), but we will never post about having worked on your book online, and we do not require written credit in your book’s acknowledgements. When you inquire about our services, you will be provided with a selection of excerpts and told about a number of projects that we have done (without referring to the author or work by name) in the genre that interests you.
Are the Evergreen Ghostwriters accomplished and reliable?
Yes! With decades of experience ghostwriting, as well as publishing in traditional and new media under their own names, our ghostwriters are talented interviewers, encouraging creative partners, and excellent writers vetted for their abilities and customer service.
Will I own the copyright to my book?
Yes! Ghostwritten books constitute a “work for hire” under the law, which means that you, the client, retain the copyright for the book that is produced. This is outlined and re-emphasized in all of our client agreements for your added protection.
Do you provide publishing options?
Yes! We can provide independent publishing services for a small, additional fee (making your book available on Amazon, etc.) or we can refer your book to one of our publishing partners depending on the genre of your book – Business books will usually get recommended to a different publisher than memoirs, for example.
